Effective June 23, 2005 we will not be providing as much content that can be deemed “sexually explicit” on our site. XXX galleries will now have 2257 compliance links at the bottom of each gallery page. Here is a detailed explanation of what type of content is acceptable to be listed on the site:
Ass & Penis shots are ok. This does not fall under the definition of sexually explicit conduct as defined in 18 USC section 2257. Masturbation is NOT ok. Even though this is still considered softcore by many in the adult industry, it is considered sexually explicit conduct as defined by 18 USC section 2257.
Basically what this means is that a close up penis shot is fine, as long as the model is not touching his dick or ass with his hand or a sex toy (and no other person is touching him). By definition. 2257 is a record keeping/creating and maintaining law and can only affect those that are required to keep records. Softcore content in our attorney's opinion is not covered under any 2257 legislation to date.
The Free Speech Coalition has filed on June 16, 2005, a lawsuit challenging the 2257 law. We at The Whack have joined The Free Speech Coalition to fight against these new laws. Basically what this new law means for surfers of any "free xxx porn site" is you will be able to view more soft-core movies and pictures but if you expect to see more hardcore action you will be expected to join gay paysites. This is in accordance with all 2257 laws in effect June 23rd 2005, this new law concerns all XXX porn sites that target US surfers.
We (TheWhack) will have to list all 2257 info for hardcore videos and pictures as explained above. We (TheWhack) will mostly be listing soft-core content since this requires less time and less headaches, we apologize for the inconvenience.
